Issues with map for my Call of Cthulhu Game

I am playing around with the lighted dungeon template for a "dark and stormy night" feeling. I have really enjoyed the look I have gotten. The symbols I used for the rooms are a combination of DD3 .png's and also some symbols I grabbed out of symbol set 3. When I look at the map on my computer screen everything looks great. It is only when I print the map that all the symbols from SS3 are simply blacked out, as you can see.

If anyone has any suggestions for this problem or any artistic input I would appreciate it greatly.

Oh, well that's probably because it's Shadow Furniture of the Old Ones, from Beyond.

No, I suppose not. Sorry, I couldn't help myself. I'm afraid I don't have any answers. It seems to me that the SS3 symbols might be lacking some kind of graphic layer that's required by the Lighted Dungeon template? Just a guess though. Or, are the SS3 symbols on the same layer or sheet as the other furniture symbols? That's a really neat map, so I'm guessing you know more than I do about using CC3/DD3.

I think it looks amazing even with the blacked out symbols! Nice job. Hopefully someone more helpful than I am can figure this out for you. I hope you'll post the finished map once they do!

    Good luck,

  • Ack. My first post on the forums and I figured out the answer on my own! I had the "Print Everything As Black" button on the print screen. For some reason it only affected the SS3 symbols, not the .png symbols. Here is the map as it should look!
