Wood paneling on the floor of a space ship?

Loving the product, just bought Cosmographer and am making my first ship for a game I'm running. The back room of the ship has wood floors, and I'm wrestling with Cosmo3 to make this happen. There's no wood floors within Cosmo itself (that I can find, just tiles and metal), but I see several types of wood flooring in the Dungeon directory (plus I've downloaded lots of .png's from DunDjinni sites I used to use), so imported it into my map, added it to my Deck list, and selected it. And it's HUGE. It looks like, no matter how wide an area I apply it to, it's stretching it to fit the image on single vs tiling it, so in a 40' area the boards are 10' wide and 40' long, which is silly.

I know I'm doing something dumb, if one of you wiser vets can point it out to me, I'd be much obliged.

Sounds like your fill has the option "Strech to fill" set. Open the fill style properties dialog (by clicking on the "FS: XXXX" indicator at the top of the screen) and select your bitmap fill, then set it to "Tile to fill" and "scaled" to the dimension you want.
  • Nope, it was Tile to Fill. It was, however, not scaled, which I discovered when you showed me how to find that dialog box. Checking Scaled and setting the scale to match the dimensions of my grid did the trick, thank you so much for the guidance :)
