Not getting the correct symbol size
Hello everyone,
I'm trying to make a battle report using the CA32 Napoleonic Battle Maps Annual template and symbols, using the recommended map size. The problem I am having is when making the terrain elevations using the Defalt Terrain button and selecting one of the slope fills, it is not the correct proportion: the sample maps given use the slope fills, and they provide nice shading for hills and such because the fills are very fine; whereas what I am given the slope fills are large blobs and make my map look like it has chicken pox. I've tried adjusting the default symbol scale in Drawing Properties, but that does not change the slope fills. Any help would be appreciated.

open up the fill style dialog (by clicking the "FS:Name of the Fill" box on the top right of the screen) and look for the slope fills under bitmap files. They all start with CA30 in the name.
Adjust their scaling downward for the size of your map. The default is 250, go as far down as you need.
Hope that helps.
