Perspective Pro Additional Walls Trouble

I am trying to make a tavern/Inn and I am having troubles getting the hang of using certain commands or even trying to figure out how to make something. That one main one being additional walls that are made inside the building. An example of what I am trying to do is found in this one:

I'm trying to make additional walls that look like a T, but I can't figure out how to get the ones to go 'behind' the main walls instead of sitting on top. The certain spot being the bottom center corner right next to the bar table there. When I make a wall, it sits on top the outer wall. If anyone has any information, I'd appreiacte is VERY much.

I've tried to find video tutorials on this but haven't found out. The booklet helped only so much. So if anyone has any resources they could share, thank you!

Since you probably have both inner and outer walls on the same sheet, use the entity order buttons, especially "bring infront of" and "send behind".

  • Yeah, I'm having to kind of fool around with a few different ways to do this, and not all are working out to well, lol. I've tried the "bring infront of" buttons, but the only thing with that is I have a hard time targeting anything. I will click what I want selected, but instead of just that, it will select the entire thing.
  • Using sheets, what would be the order if I were to go that route? I am still very new with these programs so just kind of going with the flow on how to use it.

I have never tried using sheets in a perspective drawing, but if you do, you'll need something like one sheet for the floor, one for the back walls, one sheet for internal entities (symbols and walls), and one sheet for the front walls, in that order.
I haven't tried this though, so there might be unforeseen consequences. Due to the nature of the perspectives view, the entity order buttons is probably your best bet, and they will still be needed even if you add sheets, especially to manage the entities on the interior sheet.
