Creating a map in levels.

Okay, so i know you can export a map from FT into CC3 in levels which is awesome. However I do not like the way it looks in the least for my purposes and going through every map in order to change it would take almost as much time as working from scratch... So my question is this: After I have made a world map with just the land masses in CC3, is there a way to make a separate map that is a zoomed in section of the overmap? I'm trying to create a pretty detailed map of a fantasy world that can be viewed from different levels for different information...

Yes. Look at pages 40-42 of the manual for the basic steps to do this.

I don't have the manual... It is my friend's CC3. Would it be found on his comp? I looked in the documentation folder by the way... no go.

I'm sorry to hear that your pirated copy didn't come with adequate documentation. If you talk to the person you pirated the software from, perhaps they can help you.

Hello ChronosFlame,
you can ask your friend to transfer his licenses over to you (by sending me an email) if you want to continue using his copy (and he doesn't). Otherwise I strongly suggest you purchase a copy of CC3/Fractal Terrains.

I won't be using it a lot. I only have his laptop for another day. I'll probably still play with it sometimes, but I'm pretty sure he does use it. I'll buy my own copy when I have the money but till then I will only have access to it now and then. I can always take what I do get done from his comp to mine when I do buy the system.
