How can you get FT data into a sheet that is hideable?

I've got a question... I would like to generate the outlines of a CC3 world with FT, but I don't want any of the "computer graphics" showing through. FT is awesome for giving me the gist of what a world should look like, but in the end, I'd kind of like to "trick" everyone into thinking it looks like a "made from scratch" hand-drawn world. Basically, I'm wanting FT to provide an outline which I would "trace" over using CC3 (not an exact trace, but a loose trace, which would look more like a hand-drawn map), then once the tracing is done, I'd want the outline gone. Is there a way to save the FT data to a specific sheet, which can then be hidden? I can only get the data to go to the Common Sheet, which you can't hide.

  • After it goes to the common sheet you could copy all of it to a new sheet named FT trace and then delete it all from the common sheet. Then do your trace and delete FT trace sheet when done.
  • I think I understand what you're saying, but I'm having a hard time executing it. Do I create FT Trace before I copy everything? I tried that, and I must be doing something wrong, because FT trace is blank... I think deleting everything out of Common is killing it permanently. If it's not too much trouble, could you walk me through the steps? I'm a total newbie lol.

    Thanks!

    1. Create the new sheet
    2. Hide all the sheets except your new sheet
    3. Click Change Properties image
    4. Right click in the drawing window, then select All
    5. Right Click, select Do It
    6. In the dialog that pops up, make sure there is a check mark for the sheets option, and that you select the new sheet you made in the dropdown. (Note that there will only be a checkbox if there was more than one item to move. If it was just one item, ignore the missing checkbox)
    7. Click ok. All the entities on common are now moved to your new sheet.
