Battle and Encounter map compatibility

in Mapping with ProFantasy's Software
OK, with 4th edition D&D out and the heavy miniature slant, I'm looking for the ability to produce these maps for wilderness areas, town streets, tavern and inn romms, and inside the dungeon and caves. What would I need to be able to produce maps to a size of about 36" width and 4-5ft length?

    All you need is to create a map of the appropriate size, and set the correct scaling options on print.
    Assuming that 1" on the printout equals 5' on the map (I assume that's the scale D&D 4th uses). 36" is then 180', and 4' = 48" = 240'. This means, create a dungeon (floorplan) map with size 180x240, add a grid with distance 5', and when printing, set the scale factor to 1" (Paper distance) = 5' (Drawing distance)
