Earth Near Star Maps?

Hello all, first time poster and new CC3 and Cosmographer 3 user here. I've tried to do some searches on the forums but have not found a map of the local stars around the Sol system. I saw it mentioned, but didnt see it in the Cosmographer 3 package. Any help would be appreciated, as it could be right in front of me :-)

If you look in Examples/Cosmogrgrapher they have 3 Nearby Stars Maps in it.

Hmmm, that's an interesting map. I've seen that before too when i was looking at paper maps. Question though. How do i get that figure into a format that works with CC3? or is there something i need to do to it first?

No idea how to get it into CC3. I mentioned it as some here mgiht have seen it a few years ago, but they moved their web site to a different url/host.

Found this site that you might find helpful. it gives lots of imformation on making star maps, has some example maps, and has an overview and listing of various programs that can help with that. Some of the program links don't work, but I snagged a couple of nice freeware ones thanks to it.

Exactly what i was looking for! Thank you so much.

Now just need to figure out a way to plot these on an x,y,z axis and i think i can import.
