Two Questions Before I Buy
Hello All, I am really interested in purchasing CC3 but I had two questions first:
1. Can I make decent looking dungeon maps in CC3 without buying DD3? I would like to get DD3 at some point, but $100 for a first dive is too much right now, I'd rather start out at less that $50. Dungeon mapping is my primary interest at this point, followed closely by city mapping, and I just want to make sure this program can do it without the add-ons.
2. When I make a map, can I post it for use by anyone on a website if I wanted to? Heck, could I sell it if I wanted to? Basically, are the maps I make with it my property to do with as I see fit?
Thanks for all the help. If you have made a city or dungeon map using just CC3, post a link for me if you can, I would love to see them.
Thanks,

2. My web site has over one thousand six hundred maps on it I made with CC2 and later CC3. Along with different add-ons.
Yes, you can sell your maps.
Crestar, Crest of a Star
Starship site
Shass, a planet Uses a planet hexagon template frm Cosmo Pro.
Blue: Marsport a few surface maps, a start of a starport, and a few Perspectives maps.
One more question that I thought of, is there user created or free content (tiles, items, symbols) that I would also be able to utilize?
That's about 4GB of symbols and tiles. The only disadvantage is that they're free for personal use only, which means you can't sell maps that use them and putting maps that use them on the web, for anyone to use, is in a gray area of "personal use."
There used to be another set called the CSUAC with roughly the same use allowances, but its website has gone offline and I don't know where to find them now.
I got a bunch of extra symbols this way. Just be prepared to spend sometime going through the varrious files you can download.

I only used doors and spiral staircase. The rest sketched with the CC2 drawing tools on the right side of CC2.
