High Res Bitmaps

Hi :)

I purchased City Designer recently and the receipt page had a link to download some high res bitmaps - which has a file size of 1.6GB ...
... I have a good comp - but a lousy ISP and my comp chokes on such a large download.

Are these bitmaps available in a series of smaller downloads?

*Any* advice would be appreciated.

    I don't believe they are available in smaller downloads, but have you tried using a download manager. Most download managers handles resuming better than the built in ones you find in browsers in my experience.

    Also note that you do not absolutely need to have the Very High res bitmap set. It is only when you do a close zoom this set is used anyway, so for most maps you will never see this resolution anyway.

    I'll try a better download manager - that's a great suggestion.
    Thanks also for letting me know about the (non) necessity of this set. I'll still download them - but I won't obsess :)))
