3 Noobish Problems
First of all thank you for considering my problems and Im happy to be a new member of the community.
1. Is it possible to move the symbols that you put on the map when you create it (like the compass, etc) and if so how?
2. When I make a map and put Mountains (or any symbol for that matter) they show up Past my map border, how can I fix this? (this is Really driving me crazy)
3. When I make a map (for example I start with all ocean and then add a land mass that goes past the map border, like part of a continent near an ocean) and then add contour (once again it goes off the map) then I add an internal fade it will fade all around where the contour touches the map border. It seems like the internal fade counts the map edge as the edge of the contour, which looks wrong. Sorry if that is hard to understand, its 5am and I have been playing with it since 10pm!
Once again thank you for your consideration.

Comments
1. Notice the Compas in the top left border, I want to move that.
2. Notice the Mountains past the border in the upper left hand corner and some of the scrub on the upper right corner.
3. Notice that Blob of a contour I put in the center left, see how the sheet causes it to look like it ends at the map edge?
Thanks again
2. Use a screen to hide the mountains. Draw a plain white polygon along the outside of the border, and place it on the MAP BORDER sheet. This will cause the white polygon to be on top of everything else, hiding the mountains.
This problems occurs because a CC3 drawing is really (close to) unlimited in size. The border is actually just an artificial limit, indicating the size of the map you have specified.
3. You can work around this by editing the drawing tool, and tell it NOT to restrict to the map border. Then just draw it a little past the border. If you added the screen from 2., it will hide the part of the contour outside the map.
