User art menu's?

I searched a little bit in the forums but not sure what keywords to use so here goes it.

I have downloaded quite a bit of user created art which are all amazing, thank you developers! Well it is difficult and slightly more time consuming trying to get to the user created art and I was wondering if you can create a menu or shortcut to get to the user art folders? Thanks ahead of time.

    Have a look at the menu files I created for CSUAC. You can use those as a starting point for creating your own menus:

    Ok so I am new at this. Another question. I checked out your link and downloaded the CSUAC file you had there to see how it works. Now I do not have the CSUAC art. I downloaded lots of other art though. Do I have to add each individual bitmap or png into the new menu folder in each categories (ie creatures) mnc file? If so is there a general guideline to follow or something like that? Thanks again.

    No. You cannot link straight to images. You need to put your images into symbol catalogs (.fsc files) first. This is quite simple:

    1. Create a new map. Use the "Symbol Catalogs" map type (Just accept the defaults for size, etc..)
    2. Symbols menu -> Import png's
    3. Browse for the folder containing your png files (symbols have to be in png format). When you browse to the catalog, just select any .png file in it, and CC3 will automatically select the folder itself
    4. Click ok
    5. File -> Save As. Select Campaign Cartographer 3 Symbol Catalog, and put it somewhere.
    6. Repeat for each folder you have with art files.

    Now, you have a bunch of symbol catalog files (one for each folder of art files you have). Now you can point your menu files to these, and when you load a the symbol catalog, all the art files from that catalog will be visible in the symbol catalog window.
