Is there any way in CC3 to blur the edges of textures...

... without blurring the entire texture?

Greetings all. Working a bit on some ideas for a city map, i discovered that i wanted to use an external texture for a hill, which adds a different flavour to the map. The problem about the textures is that, without blurring, the edge is too narrow and doesn´t blend well with the background surface. I´m using some effects to compensate this, as Glow (with dark green) and Inner Glow (with low blur value and using dark grey), which helps but still, the narrow edge is still black and too harsh for my taste.

I tried to use Blur which solves the problem, but also blurs the entire texture, something i don´t want as precisely a defined texture is what i was looking for.

Is there any effect in CC3 that lets to blur just the edge of a polygon, without blurring the rest of it? Thanks in advance, any tip is welcome aswell.
