Snow

I am working on an overland map and I want to include snow or a frozen wasteland across the top of the landmass and I cannot find snow terrain or symbols for the life of me. Any help would be appreciated.

I couldn't find one either. However, I used the Ice Packed symbol for my snow in the Coast/Sea Section.

See if this will work for you.File is 1000 x 1000 pixels and I made it originally for DD3, but it may be suitable for CC3 as well.

You might ask farsightX3 for his technique -- as I recall he did a great job with snow and tundra on the north side of his map, now taken down. The discussion is here: http://forum.profantasy.com/comments.php?DiscussionID=1368

Hi Farsight! To use the image:

Right click the image and save the png to your harddrive, preferably somewhere in the CC3/Bitmaps directory.
Import it into your map either through Tools>Import bitmap fill styles or directly through the Fill styles properties box.
(I found that it looks best on overland maps with no scaling and on DD3 maps with a scale of 10.)
Create a draw tool for the fill and use as you would any other terrain fill.
