Curban - an Elven City WIP

I am now doing another city (my favourite type of map) - the capital city of the Elven Queendom of Aillte-Lonrach. I will show it as I progress - almost finished the city centre.
The street layout i got by using the Watabou city layout, and The style I am using is a mix of SS5 and Watabou revised. And Shessar's magnificent compass and scales.
Here is the total city.
Here is a close up of the city centre. The text is deliberately small at this stage - more a reminder to me of the sort of buildings I need to put in.
After I finish the centre, I am going to concentrate on the dockside area.

Did you select a green as your grid lines?
No, @Don Anderson Jr. I used black but with 25% transparency. I prefer to keep the rid a little as possible. When I have done the index, I remove the gridlines and just keep the numbers and letters on the frame (which I moved to a separate sheet with no transparency).
I will be making the education centre in the southern part of the centre, and the health sector in the southwestern area - then moving to the dockyards
Man I never even clued in to use transperancy on something like grid lines. That's very clever.
@Don Anderson Jr. I also make them more than 0.0 width - something like 0.01, because otherwise when printed, they disappear if at 0.0. And I often add a soft glow, just to make sure they actually appear when printed - that is, if I actually want toe grid to be seen at all.
