Error message with Windows 7

I recently bought a new laptop and have installed my copy of CC3 and its add-ons on this. When I click on the short forCC3 I get an error message box titled "FCW32:fcw32.exe- Entry Point Not Found" and a further description "The procedure entry point_MLTextSplitX@12 could not be located in the dynamic link library fcw32.exe". Yet if I close the message box I can get the program working. What's causing this and how can I prevent this from happening.
My system does use the 64 bit version of Windows 7. Could this be a problem?

[edit: I have found a second error message box titled CC2 with an alert Error 00000007F loading XP module: XPDWG2.DLL] Maybe it is my OS?

I have Windows 7 x64 too, but it works.I've installed it on Windows 7 normally and run it in administrator mode. Not XP-Mode and not Compatibility-Mode.

I've had a go in administrator mode and I am still getting these message boxes. Its irritating, but no more than that, as the program will run normally after closing them. Strange.

Try contacting ProFantasy Tech Support. Maybe they have a fix for the problem.

Please try to install Update 8, available from the registration page. Does that fix the error messages?

How dumb do I feel? Yes, that solves it. I had thought I'd installed patch 8. Evidently not. Anyway, problem solved. Thanks for your input guys.
