Seeing Symbols as you Place Them

Hello
I was laying some symbols and for various reasons I had to do so completely freehand - no snapping to the grid or smart symbols. My eye's not perfect of course but it's pretty good. What would really help me out though is if there was some way to see the symbol rather than the wired approximation the program currently seems to use while I'm laying it in place. I know it's hard on the system resources, but my machine's Kung Fu is strong. Is there a way I can do this? CC2 allowed it.

Which style are you using, Corradus? I'd like to test it out myself.
Strange. It behaves for me as you seem to want it to.
Which symbol are you trying to place?
Loopysue to the rescue! Yay!
I bought Cartographer's annual #6 yesterday and was playing with some of the new Deckplan symbols.
Well I hope I know how to help you!
Do you mean High Space SciFi Tiles?
Which one of these?
Please can you upload the file you are working on? You can attach an FCW file to a comment.
I have a major problem with vector symbols, especially house ones, if I want to resize or change the angle. Is there some way to do this? it is OK when they are first placed, but not if you want to then alter the size and position.
Do they have an outline when you move them, Quenten? If not, then try hitting the TAB key.
Unfortunately, an outline of the shapes is all you will get with a vector symbol.
@Corradus - this may not necessarily be the same as the problem you are having.
Thanks, Sue - I will do that.
