There’s a metallic gold leaf fill in Sue’s Parchments (under Other). It’s what I used for the inlay in my ziggurat. And there’s a bronze (or brass?) inlay in Marine Dungeons 2.
Maybe like 4 layered polys with transparencies?
I do that with vector art programs.
I think it's a no go with my way, much much too laggy to work with. Redraw time is so slow, and I don't have a slow machine.
This was just a few minutes, but I gave up after realizing it's just a resource hog.
Sorry, not at my computer (on my iPad) but just remembered that Sue’s Parchments are under Bitmaps - Backgrounds.
There are a couple more metallic fills if you have Cosmographer.
