Sea lines
Hello everyone
I am a new user and I have been watching tutorials on youtube. I was reading the notes in one of the annual packs (John Roberts) and it said there are tools to make sea lines along the coast but I can't find this tool. Does anyone know where it is? To be clear I mean lines like these in Tolkien's map

The CONTOURSM command will do that as geometry that you can edit, and the Edge Striping effect with a suitable image will do that as an image effect. Getting variable spacing is more difficult with CONTOURSM than with edge striping, but you can get variance in the spacing using FRX on the geometry from CONTOURSM that you can't do with Edge Striping.
