This is my mostly successful attempt to create Venice- (or Amsterdam, or Bruges-) like canals in SS6.
I may have created the whole map a bit too large.. 🤗
Might at least finish the West - will see.

Still making up my mind about what I exactly want in the Northern part - it will most likely only be a partial city.
I'm finally getting more comfortable with the "Bring in Front of" and "Send Behind" - commands. Both help a lot when I add symbols out of the most efficient "from back to front" - order.
Filling the North was surprisingly easy: I present the bustling trade town of Dreyengrund:

Mapping this was fun, but I'll probably create something a bit smaller next time.

This is inspirational. I haven't tried SS6 yet, but after seeing this, I think I will try it out.

Looking forward to seeing what you will do with this style - I like that mappers produce such different visual styles and maps using SS6.
