converting polys fractal to smooth?

can it be done? I looked through the Tome and drew a blank, suggesting it isn't at the time the current version was compiled.

    Yes :)

I use the Straight to Smooth option in the right click menu of the Fractalize button. I think the command may be STC, since that is what appears in the command line.

I would recommend doing a SIMPLIFY command on the path before converting it to a smooth one, if possible, because fractal paths tend to have a lot of nodes and just switch the type to a smoothed path may have too many nodes to make the smoothness particularly visible.

    Yes, that's very true.

@HelenAA - Joe's recommendation will also prevent the 'fly away' artefacts you can sometimes get when smooth nodes are more or less on top of one another, for example when converting a more extreme fractal line or polygon.
