symbol Styles not available

I'm sure this is answered somewhere on the forum but I couldn't find it.
I created a new map using the Sarah Wroot style. But when I click on one of the symbol type buttons (minerals, vegetation, etc) I get a "Select Catalog Setting" window, which doesn't respond to anything. I've checked to make sure the map properties are set to Sarah Wroot style. I can manually find the correct symbol sets and they are installed in the correct directory locations.
Any ideas on how I can correct this? I'm running Win7 64-bit, with CC3 (patch 8), DD3, CD3 and all Annuals installed.

It seems to be a bug in this template, as the map should normally be set to do this automatically when you open it. To fix it permanently (for that particular map), go to
File->Drawing Properties->Map Notes.Then create a new map note called "OnOpenMacro", and set it's content to:
SYMICONFLOAD;Sarah Wroot;
This will cause the command to be executed each time the map is opened. You can also edit the wizard template file to add this there to get this behaviour correct for all future maps of this style.
