Roads and cities

Hi

I need an answer to what is probably be a very simply question.

I have laid down the cities and towns on my current map, but when I lay down the connecting roads, they are laid down over the cities and towns.

How do I get them to lay below?

    The road tools should automatically place them in the proper sheet, the ROADS sheet (or equivalent), and it should be below your SYMBOLS sheet.

    So, from the above, there's a couple of things to check:

    • In what sheet are your roads being placed?
    • In which sheet are your city/town symbols being placed?
    • How are the two respective sheets ordered in your map?

    Then again, the map styles usually have the tools setup so that all this happens with minimal intervention.

    Thanks Roflo1, the road sheet was higher then the symbols sheet for some reason.

    All sorted now.
