Wall Items Disappearing

A new user using CC3, V. 3.20 & CAD 6.18.0, and the DD3 add-on.

When I place wall items on the wall, on the Walls sheet, they appear as expected. I save the file but after being closed and re-opened, the wall items have disappeared.

Any ideas?

Does this happen with all maps, or just the current map?
If just the current map, make sure that no sheets or layers are hidden, and that the wall* sheets are above floor/background sheets.

Also, are the items you place from CC3/DD3's symbol catalogs, or are they custom symbols. If custom symbols, make sure they are placed on the correct sheet.

That seems to have done it. They were from the CC3/DD3 symbol catalogs.

Many thanks...another step along the learning curve. I'm not yet proficiently attuned to the sheets/layers aspect of the application.

You'll get the hang of them soon. They may be a little confusing in the beginning, but they are invaluable tools when you get into them.

I hope you're correct. :)

I simply overlook that aspect of the application as often as not...as I have no real experience with them in other applications, I forget they're there.
