Why are GBP prices ~10% more? :-o

Hi again,

I decided on what to buy, but when I look at the prices, errr...

For my location, the page converts the prices to GBP, however in my local currency, that is around 10% more expensive than the USD price.

Can I lie and say I'm buying from the US?

))))

For reference, since ProFantasy is a UK based company, they do all their sales in GBP, except to the US market.

Oh, okay.

When ordering, there was actually no option to get just the download versions, I had to choose shipping, so I couldn't have said I was from the US anyway.

I guess I'll have a couple extra cd-s. Who knows when they might come handy.

On the main shop page, there is a selector at the bottom labeled "delivery method". It should allow you to select between "box + download" and "download only". You have to change it at this point in the ordering process however, I don't believe there is any opportunity to change it on a later screen.
If you don't want the physical CD's, you could always contact the ProFantasy order desk. I don't know the policy regarding this, but it can't hurt to ask them.

There was this option for the "standalone" products I got (SS1, Tome), but not for the bundle (World Builder). The bundle only had the "box+download" line.

But it's not an issue really, I like to keep backups of the software anyway, and the original cd-s will be fine for this.

Ah, yes. That's true. They bundles are only offered with the shipping option.
