Is FT3+ a finished product?
I've just paid to upgrade (version 3.5.1) and I'm less than impressed by FT3+.
First of all it crashes all the time when editing - either non-responsive or actually just closing. I've come to expect that I can work on it (eg generating new worlds and modifying terrain) for 15 minutes at a time and then it will stop.
River generation is an absolute nightmare - sometimes it works, but more often it completely overlays any map (including the ocean) with a condensed network of rivers that turn the whole world into one giant paddy field.
These problems become glaringly apparent when going through the steps of the one day world builder (but with different base maps).
Surely the product isn't meant to be this buggy?

Hi there! We're sorry for the problem with the river generation. It's on the list of things to fix, but that's all I can offer at the moment.
We haven't had more reports of "crashing when editing" issue. Would you send in a tech support request with more detailed steps when and how this happens?

I haven't had that problem. It is a standard alone product. I suggest contacting tech support.
I've found another thread about the river problem, https://forum.profantasy.com/discussion/comment/107714#Comment_107714
Definitely seems like a longstanding issue that hasn't been fixed.

I'll note the crashing instances and send them through.
About the rivers, I had more success today by not "burning in" any edits
