When I Download my CC3 to my new PC , I wanted to move my settings and custom content from over all these years. I just don't know where all that stuff is located. i was hoping it would be as simple as copying the old file and placing it in the correct place on the new PC?
Any help is very much appreciated - there are years of stuff in there that I am sure I don't even remember, but take for granted that the setting is the already set and saved.
thank you every one
Darren
ps : I didn't look around in the forums but how well does CC3 work with Win 11?

If you have edited the .mnu files, those contain your settings. Just move them over to the new install if you have, after you do the new install.
If you made your own templates, symbols, and bitmap fills, just move those over after you complete the install.
Do the latest patch, then move the above files over.
Ive been on Win11 for several months and havent had any issues.
Thank you very much !
I have been using Windows 11 for a month or so.
A few maps that just instantly crash the program.
There is also an issue with going backwards and forwards with maps using the previous drawing and next drawing buttons. The map field will go pure green. Sometimes I can go forward and back and then they will load properly. Sometimes it will crash the program and every button will turn white. This is off an Azuz Rog strix G713i 16 gb 2.9 - 4.2 ghz
So there are some kind of little issues. Nothing that has me freaking out though.
@Don V Anderson Jr. is there any chance that you could share the names of the files that crash on windows 11? if the files are custom, could you share one of the files?
Surely the next time I crash it I will send you the files. Anything to help!
jslayton I unconsciously sent error reports to microsoft on a bunch of instances of the program crashing. As the program developer can you get access to these reports?
Anyone know if I can pull those kind of reports from my own computer?
It is probably not exactly what you are looking for, but if Windows has an error, you can find it in the Event Viewer. Just type it in to the search bar to find the program.
Most software on my win 10 computer sends errors to MS without my ability to stop them.
I'm more interested in the fcw files that were causing the crash than I am in the location of the crash. An fcw that will cause a reproducible crash can usually be trusted provide the crash location
OK I will keep messing around and see where, when and hopefully what.
