the BOX command isn't giving me a filled in box

I need a box for a part of the spaceship I'm working on, and so I sized the width of the line and drew a box. I'd put a width of above 1 as per the instructions but I got an empty box bounded by a border. I checked the fill style was solid, and just to make sure I had interpreted the text that popped up when you alter the width of the line, I changed it to 0.9 and tried again. Same basic result, only a narrower line. I haven't got a clue what I'm doing to not get a box so I'm attacting it here.

As long as line with is larger than 0, it will always be hollow. To get a filled shape, make sure line with is 0.
