CC3 not displaying any bitmap symbols with buttons

CC3 and it's addons CD and DD don't display any bitmap symbols at all when I try to paint symbols. Only vector symbols come up. I tried applying the hotfix for CD3 with no success. I've also tried reinstalling the application suite a couple times. Does anyone have any ideas how I can get my bitmap symbols to come up without having to manually load them all the time?

I'm running Windows 7, if that matters.

Use the Symbol Style Toggle

button to set your symbol style to your preferred type. The symbol catalog buttons always loads up the symbol catalog of the selected style (if available).
