Can you change the map distance?
Hi, I have created a world and from that many maps. the world is 12000 miles round and the maps take their distance from this but I have know decided this is all too large.
So my question is can I change the results when I use info/distance, area etc to smaller value? I do not want to have to scale down all the maps but is that the only way?

File->Drawing Properties->Map units.Change the value as appropriate, and make sure "rescale" is NOT checked.
Now i need to change my scale by one fifth, but changing what you suggested by 0.2 OR by 5 makes no difference when I use the distance tool, am i missing something?
To reduce the scale to one fifth, multiply the current value in the box with 5.
