renaming custom tool

After right clicking the Default Terrain tool, followed by the Advanced button, I copied one of the existing tools into a new one. Is there a way to alter the name of my new tool once that's been completed - or do I just create another copy, name it as I want, and delete the first copy?

The tool is saved as a file in @System\Drawtools\Stylename, you can rename a tool just by renaming this file, but there is no way in the GUI to do it other than the new+delete approach you suggest.
Thanks. That's helpful. I located my files and made a note of this location for the future.
I see that the new tools I created ended up in the directory where Stylename = Overland CC3.
If I go up one directory level to @System\Drawtools, I see a number of Terrain .dto files. If I placed my custom terrain tools in this directory, would it make them universally available to all of my maps? (or am I better off leaving them where they are in the Overland CC3 directory?)
No, the ones in the root directory applies to maps that doesn't have a style at all. The tools needs to be in the subdir matching the style.
got it - thank you
