Editing Text

I am new to this software and i am making my first map for a D&D game.

the map looks great, but after i put text on the map there doesn't seem to be any way to select, edit, or delete it. So far this hasn't been an issue because i haven't needed to change anything, but i would like to know what to do, before that situation comes up.

any help on this would be great.

Use the "numeric Edit" button

to edit text. Note that to select text, either for editing or deletion, you need to select the baseline of the text, and not just any edge.

Cryothread resurrection.

I'm having a similar problem, note screenshot below; try as I might, I cannot find the baseline for the text, which is, as you can see, outlandishly mahoosive. Any clues as to how to find the baseline?

(cc2 v 6.12 with CosPro running under WINE on a Ubuntu Linux 14.04 LTS box)

Kindly ignore my last post, I figured it out. the darn foreground layer was fixed (locked). I've fixed (unlocked) it and can now edit the font sizes

Guess I'm having a few D'OH moments here *slaps forehead*

Instead, is there a way of globally changing the properties (eg size) of text? Going in and doing each one in turn is going to be a right pain, obviously.

Yes, there is: You can choose "Edit text Properties" and then select all text on a certain layer, or all text (select by entity type > 2d Text) and the changes you make will apply to all selected text.
