World Builder's Compendium Missing Example Maps

This dreary winter I've had some time to learn up on CC3+. I've been going through the World Builder's Compendium and noticed an issue on the second article titled "SPECIAL EFFECTS: OCEANIC CONTOURS, COLOUR SHIFTS AND CONTRAST, ADJUSTMENTS, SNOWFIELDS, AND MIDNIGHT" by Sue Daniel.

In the side bar it says I can find the supporting files "Dorina - Mike Schley.FCW" and "Dorina - Herwin Wielink.FCW" in the CC3+ Data Directory Folder :/Tutorials/World Builder.

I cannot locate these example maps or the mentioned folder directory. My CC3+ is updated, is there something else I forgot to grab somewhere?

As I go through the compendium should I add all the examples/maps/articles I can't find to a list and then post that later here?

Hi! ave you participated in the Humble Bundle campaign and installed the World Builder's Compendium package? Or are you just going from them pdf download that was added to the Tome of Ultimate Mapping downloads?

While Ralf sorts you out @dvp236, the article - or perhaps an earlier version of it - is also available on the Profantasy Blog here, the Blog post includes links to all the example map files.

  • I purchased the MAPS Extravaganza Encore Humble Bundle. Is this different than the world builders compendium package?

I downloaded the World Builder's Compendium PDF from the ToUMv3 files. I also reinstalled the ToUMv3 thinking that might help but it did not.

=( So it seems I have to pull any support maps needed from old blog posts? Do any of y'all have a C:ProFantasy/Tutorials/World Builder folder? How did you acquire it?

I believe it is either the same, or has some of the same content.

Tech Support is aware of your issues and is currently working on resolving the problem, however there may be a slightly longer wait than usual owing to the Christmas period.
