first map and questions

Well, this wasn't my first try. All the other I didn't like, so I didn't save. This is the first that Iḿ be happy with the result. Ok, not so so happy since I don't know how to do one thing, what is my question.

My intention is to make a mountain village, in this village, that are different levels, one main level, one higher when go to the right and two lowers while going left and then down. But I don't find any tool to make such effect. That is any?

Anyway, here is my village. Not as I "dream" with, but still "my" village!

What you you want to do requires using the Sheet Effects. I am no expert on sheet effects (I'm barely a novice) but drop shadows and bevel I believe are the effects you are going to want to play with

You'd normally show elevation changes as differently colored contours (polygons). If you choose the colors intelligently (e.g. going from dark to bright), you can increase the elevation effect.

I love the feel and flavor of your map. It does seem a little jarring to me to have top down buildings next to side view mountains and hills. Perhaps you could make your mountains top down using other symbols in the catalog.

But if it doesn't bother you, let it be.

I agree with SkidAce. Really nice layout on your village, but the mountains make it look funny.

Its a nice map. And like you said its yours.
Agree witht he above posters about the mountains.

For an example about evaluation you could look at the annuals. Volume 1 has a good example.
