Thanks for the report! It turns out that global raise and lowering are doing something, but to rainfall rather than temperature. Copy and paste errors are my second most common software failure. There should be a new beta along eventually.
Not wanting to nag, but any sign of this being fixed in the beta soon? I'm experimenting with temperature and rainfall to get biomes that I like, and I'm feeling the lack of the raise/lower option.
My apologies, this was delayed due to work on Symbol Set 6. I've just posted the version with the latest fixes to the betatesters. Once they had a look and it works fine (hopefully), I'll make it available publicly.

Thanks for rooting it out, Joe :)
The new version with the fixed Global Raise/Lower commands is available as the 3.5.3 beta from the registration page.
I've just noticed that the global lower/raise command for temperature isn't doing anything
Is this with the current 3.5.2 beta or the shipping version?
sorry, I should have said so in the first place - the 3.5.3 beta

just bumping this again
I can work around the global temperate raise/lower issue with the math tool, but would still be nice if the named function worked as intended
