Problem with FT Pro Need Help!

I've has FT Pro for a while now but I just upgraded to a new computer. I installed FT and I am now trying to save an image to JPG. I have the setting of the altitude at 1 white for land and 1 white for water with the shading for land on. Now when I save it and try to open it in Illustrator or Photoshop It comes out blank. This never happened on my old comp. I tried it with a different color for water, I get the coast and the water but no shading. Eh?
