Darklands City: Problem with connecting symbols when using metric template
Hello!
I've a problem with connections symbols, when I use the Darklands city metric template (I actually assume, the problem is more with use of metric templates and the adjusted scaling for those). When I want to use them, for example for a city wall, there are big gaps between the symbols and they don't connect at all (see image). In the imperial template anything works as intended. It also works, when I set the symbol scale from 0.30240 (default for metric template) to 1, but then of course, the wall is gigantic in comparison to the rest of the map.
So my question is, is there any other solution, like a setting that I can adjust, to fix this problem, other than upscaling the symbol or simply not using metric templates?

Ralf Schemmann has very kindly checked the adjustment I made and created a new symbol catalogue. This will be included in the installer when it is next updated, but he said you could have it now.
All you need to do is use this copy to overwrite the one of the same name in this folder:
C:\ProgramData\Profantasy\CC3Plus\Symbols\Cities\CA177 Darklands City

I'll start by saying, I really don't know...
... but I wonder if the symbols themselves have predefined drawing units (which conflict when used in a map with other units). If so, then maybe you could open the symbol catalog, change the units, and save with a different name.
Perhaps you have some time to spare and test?
There is an issue with the metric conversion of connecting symbols where I work in imperial and tend to use forced lengths to close the tiny gaps in the symbols. It wasn't noticed until the first person to use them in a metric map picked it up. I was under the impression that this had been cured, but something must have gone amis.
I will look at this again for you now, but I may be several hours.
Ok. I believe I have found a solution, but because I am an artist rather than a tech I want to give it to Tech Support for the ok before I declare it to be actually solved, or I may unwittingly have broken all kinds of other things to make it do this.
Oh wow, thanks so much for looking so fast into this @Loopysue!
I'd say, no need to rush it, but well, as it looks, you've already identified and probably solved the problem. Thank you!
You're welcome :)
We should wait for the official update now.
