Over on board game geek there is a discussion about the Humble Bundle and one poster thinks you can distribute the art as part of a paper map or pdf map of some/all of the symbols/tiles/images.
I didn't want to answer the question about distribution and/or if you don't post there, I'll be glad to link this to the group so they know the answer from the source.
@mike robel I added my $0.02 over there based on what I was given to understand from several posts in this forum.
@Everyone else: let me know if I'm mistaken.
This is what I posted:
The way I understand it:
* The one-year licence is pretty much a thing they only do for Humble Bundles and the like. Basically so you can "test drive" the full CC3+ experience even without pledging for the highest tier.
* You may use the assets to create your own maps, and you own the maps. But you can't distribute the assets themselves. Also, if you create a "map" that is clearly intended to distribute the assets in high-def, you'd be infringing the licence.
For some reason I cannot see the thread. Please can you recommend that Pelle Nilsson contacts Profantasy directly to clarify any confusion there may be over the EULA?
I seemed to already have an account on there, so gave him an answer, but my answers in this regard are unofficial, I can't give an official license interpretation on behalf of ProFantasy, for that he needs to contact them directly.
@JulianDracos , I've been wondering this myself, so I went and tried to figure it out the hard way. If someone could double check this, I'd appreciate it.
As far as I can tell, HCC1 contains: CA01, CA02, CA09, CA24, CA29, CA32, CA34, CA42, CA44, CA53, CA57, CA58, CA65, CA66, CA87, CA92, CA98, CA105, CA109, CA111, CA112, CA122, CA127, CA131, CA135, CA151, CA158, and CA162.

Thanks. I saw your response.
Well, this does not quite answer the persons question which I have shown below:
The part causing him concern is "which consist predominantly of floorplan-resolutions exports of OUR ARTWORK".
I can see how you may mean not distributing the assets but ican also see he think it would include dungeon walls or village house symbols, etc.
Can someone clarify this so I can relay it or post on BGG?
Thanks!

Thank you, Remy :)
Thanks for you help Remy, Roflo1, and Sue.

Thanks. Now I will need to check what I have installed to see what is duplicated. I suspect a lot of it.
