If I made a mistake on these maps, well, it wouldn't affect the Atlas. Anyway, this is why I wanted help on making a nebula. The nebula will be used on Sector and Sub-Sector maps.

Here is a planet map I used Terraformer 0.5 to modify. a free add-on to FT3
And a nice solar system map done with Annual 80.
Oops. Changed them to jpg before post completed.

So, here is the sub-sector with nebula. Sorry, I have to put in both the sub-sector and sector maps.

Those nebulae look really nice Jim! Top work!
Sue made the nebula fior me.
You're welcome, Jim. It's just a nebula. Treat it like any other symbol - no credit necessary ;)
Well, I wouldn't want anyone to think I was the artist who drew it.
Back to sleep for me. It is not yet sunrise for me.
Sleep well :)
I was probably trying to say I'm not that good at drawing anything.
I had forgotten I can use Irfanview to alter the colors. So I did. Now I have 4 of them. Plus a 90 degree rotation.
Thank you Sue !
Nice work Jim.
Thanks Mike.
Well, I checked with some Star Frontiers users, and not many use these type of maps. So, while I wont go all out, like I did on my Traveller site, I'll continue on with the planet, sub-sector, sector maps for this site.
Here is an ice planet. Evidently I forgot which color scheme I used.
Ooh, a necro, but I'm making a small star cluster for this group of maps.
The total start cluster area, then each level.
level 1
level 2
level 3
level 4
level 5
level 6
level 7
oops. 7 was wrong, this is the correct one.
And here is a 'sketch map' of the entire area I'll be mapping.
In this game faster than light travel is possible, so no need to worry bout how far your Jump drive can go. I haven't read all of the pdfs yet, so I'm not sure on details.
I like the idea that I put each level of the star cluster on its own sheet. Easier to see what is where, and see if I need to add and/or move them.
Here are two sectors I'm working on, slowly.
The Darrians are from Traveller.
