WIP - something for Adventures in Middle-Earth

Used to sink time into a Middle-earth themed MUD back in the day. Seeing as I suddenly have a lot of time on my hands what with wrapping up at polytech and all - I figured I'll keep staying the hell away from MUD:s for now but rather dive back into simple VTT battle maps.
River-crossing in the making, probably the bridge to Thranduil's place/budget Menegroth. Currently entertaining the idea of making it an all-roots bridge because why not.

Probably too sinister. But on the other hand - alot about Tolkien's elves is sinister.
Coming along nicely as always. And I love sinister.
It looks really nice.
Some Eves are sinister, some are more like immortal hippies with a really strange cocktail of drugs in their blood
Thank you @Monsen! First map effort since the community atlas competition one, so I am feeling a little rusty. But rusty kind of works too because then you get to explore work-arounds and cheats!
It's looking good!
Do you do your line work within Campaign Cartographer?
Thank you, and yes: it's all polygons-for-lines.
Kind of reminds me of the root bridge grown by Maleficent, in Mistress of Evil
Love your drawing style, Hans :)
Top: sans Sheet Effects
Bottom: sans MS Paint effects
Dirt path and bridge shadows cetrainly need a-fixing. Switching to 64 for the water feels about right and it probably didn't hurt to add gaps in the root-works.
On the other hand; why fix the bridge and dirt path when you can play around with foliage?
Oh wow, this is so lovely.
