Tips for outdoor nighttime encounter maps?
I'm making a set of maps for DnD encounters that will take place in a forest at night, and I'm having trouble getting the coloring right. I'm using DD3, and I'm trying to use the adjust HSL sheet effect to make things look like they're lit by moonlight. Problem is, it doesn't seem to have any effect on symbols. So my terrain looks great, but the symbols all look like brightly colored cartoons on top of it. Any tips?

I did a quick test with the effect you mention, and it seems to work properly for me.
