I am doing the livestream on thursday, and thought I would talk a little about ice caves. Stream will commence at 1900 hours alpha time. I am sure you can convert it to your own timezone somehow, or just change all your clocks to be in my timezone. Or for the easy option, just go to the video below and see what YouTube tells you. There is even a reminder button.

Half hour call, everyone :)
I can't tell you guys how much these videos teach me! This one especially taught some deeper aspects of CC3+ and ways to manipulate color and design in ways I've never considered.
Thanks, Remy, for your awesome work.

Mr. Remy, I cannot duplicate your RGB Matrix process on the very same pillar symbol you used in the map. It is ignoring any application of the effect. Can advise?
thanks
Cal
Did you remember to run DELAYDRAWSYM and set it to 0?

I'll just let myself out now...?
thanks!
Cal
I've written a blog post with explains the RGB Matrix effect in more detail.
Finally got around to watching this tonight; another great addition to the ProFantasy video sessions, I thought. Been fiddling around with bevels and the RGB Matrix Process myself lately, so it was interesting to revisit parts of what I'd been doing in that. So useful in helping people learn not to be afraid to play around with the Sheet Effects, I think. The dialogue boxes for some can be very intimidating!
We have a new technical term for when Remy's cat crosses the camera. It's called "Fur Screen". Like green screen, but black and kind of fluffy.
We need sound effects. So we can have the option of Purr Screen.
I've been struggling with ice caves for about a year now, so there was some really good tips in that video that would have saved me many hours of messing about. To be honest, I kind of have a love hate relationship with the Lighted Bevel effect. It almost does what I want it to but doesn't quite get there. I can't wait to try DELAYDRAWSYM.
In the end I used the Dungeons Of Schley. I decided that as long as it looks cold, that's that main thing.
