Looking forward to this one in particular. This is something I really need to come to grips with.

I missed the live mapping, but have just saved and watched it on YouTube - so disappointing that my explosives were not required.
I have several questions.
First, I have never been able to get a new map open in the same Application I already have a map in, but when I press NEW, it closes the old map (after asking for save or not) when I save the name to a file.
Second, I keep getting an error with CUTMENU - that Cut button will come in such handy since I am cutting up my Myirandios map, using something similar to the first method (but with all the various polygons representing biomes and altitudes, it takes quite a while).
Forget the second question - problem solved
You need to open 2 instances of CC3.
You start with one map, then right click the CC3 icon where it now appears in your Start Bar, and pick CC3+ again from the bottom of the list there.
That will open a second instance of CC3 showing the same map as in the first. You open a new map in one of them. It doesn't matter which one.
But I now have a question about having 2 instances open myself.
If there are 2 instances open and you have autosave working, what actually happens? Do the files autosave alternately, or something else entirely?
It will alternate overwriting the same autosave file. so you do need to be careful with that when running multiple instances.
