Province borders on Overland Hex map

Im trying to create province borders on my overland hex map. I have been looking for a tutorial to show me how to do this, as I cannot seem to find a command that will allow me to put borders on my hex map.

Should be a border tool available among the various drawing tools. Click All Map Drawing Tools
to see them all.
there are 3, neither of them follow along the hex edges at all
None of the tools do that automatically as far as I know. You'll need to manually place each node. Turn on Snap and it should be real easy to place the nodes precisely.
I think part of my problem is that I placed the terrain hexes down before I turned the grid on, so now the grid is off from the terrain hexes I placed
That will do it. As you’ve worked out, particularly with hex maps, it’s best to do the grid first.
