After all the requests I had here and on the FB Group page I've done a set of 40 seal designs that I hope will include most of the things people asked for. There are a lot of others - the alphabet and the Futhark runes, as well as a set of blank seals.
Sorry about the red on red. It's the easiest way to make them really difficult to steal on a public forum ;)
Very Cool. Not that Spartan shields had anything to do with seals, but one allegedly had a life size fly painted on his shield at Thermopylae. They didn't use the Lambda then. When told that the fly was too small to scare anyone, he said, "It'll be big enough when I stick it in his face." Awesome work Sue.
@Loopysue - Will there be also a blank seal for personal alternatives too? Thinking of @Monsen's recent blog posting on floor and wall inscriptions, as by not using the Invert Colors option, with a little tweaking, this method would give a similar effect on a seal with no design.
@Loopysue All of these look great, Sue. I am really looking forward to your banners next month in the annual. And I especially like the wax seals. I would suggest a sword if it hasn't already been thought of. And maybe some chess-like symbols, such as a tower or a horse's head. Or perhaps some other things you might see around a village or castle. A quill pen, a blacksmith logo, a hook and flail, or some sort of tavern sign to name a few others.
Thanks for all your beautiful craftsmanship. You're a blessing to the community.
I can't do anymore this time around because with the ribbons and parchment scrolls this set is already approaching the download limit for a single issue, but I am hoping that there will be a way that mappers can make their own simple silhouette seals.
Thanks again, Sue, for all your hard work. Just make sure you or Ralf do some sort of tutorial to help those of us who don't have your creative brain or your talent.
Sue's Banners & Seals have been released into the wild now - all looking great, as expected!
Very well done Sue, and Ralf of course, for setting it all up - complete with varicolor seal designs.
Might have been nice to have had a graphic showing all the seal options in one place in the PDF Mapping Guide, as there are a lot there - standard letters, runes and blanks, aside from the pictorial designs shown earlier in this topic. I'd recommend copying Sue's graphic here and using it for reference if you're likely to be using the seals a lot to help out.

Sadly, I cannot click on Awesome more than once.
Aw, thank you Jim :)

It´s a great job Sue! :)
Thank you, all :)
It would not have been much without all the suggestions to get me fired up ;)

Well ahead of you, Wyvern. Ralf is playing with a set of blanks I gave him ;)

Correct. I saw that on a documentary commenting on the most recent 500 movie.

Thanks for the announcement, Wyvern :)
