InstallAware issues with CC3 and DD3, any workarounds?

Greetings,
I purchased the "Whole Shebang" package, and have very much enjoyed everything, and found it very useful. Everything generally installs and works great under Crossover (for Linux), EXCEPT version 3 of CC3 and DD3. It appears to be an issue with the installer used for the version 3 products (CC2 installs and runs just great under CrossOver for Linux, this issue between 2 and 3 applies to CX 6.2.x, 7.x, and the new 8.0.0). The install proceeds as follows:

Created new bottle (whether win xp or w2k same results).
Loads CC3 install menu, or select CC3Setup.exe (same results either way).
Loads the InstallAware Wizard dialog.
"The InstallAware Wizard is verifying the contents of this setup package. This may take a moment.
Show progress bar for a while, steadily progressing...
Finishes, that dialog progress bar, and shows another one:
"InstallAware Wizard"
"InstallAware is preparing InstallAware Wizard which will install this application. Please wait."
This show progress bar as well, slowly progressing...
When the progress bar gets to about halfway, an error message pops up:
"InstallAware Wizard"
"Runtime error in install: External exception 80000100".
Only option is to click the "OK" button, which then terminates the attempted/failed install.
Is this an issue with InstallAware? Are there any tweaks or workarounds to at least get past this stage?

I have signed up as an "Advocate" for Campaign Cartographer 2 and 3 (and related apps) for Crossover, so I am attempting to bridge the gap between the two projects so that more people can use your products on other operating systems.

I am aware you do not support Crossover, but I was hoping there might be a (manual approach? it is ok if it is very technical, if there is just someway to manually install the components, I would gladly do so) workaround to install without the interference of InstallAware? Maybe you could ask your developers if they have any suggestions? Thanks for your great products, and keep up the great work!
Cheers!
