Dungeon Mapping

OK, I have only done overland and city maps so far, so bare with me if this is a stupid question LOL.
I am going to be moving on to making some dungeons for an upcoming session I have planned and I was wondering if there is a way to "black out" rooms of a dungeon and make them appear as the players discover them. I obviously dont want to show the players the whole dungeon at once and cureently I display my maps off my laptop onto a dedicated gaming TV and I would like to continue to do that with my dungeons. My players really like the interactive feel displaying maps on a TV offers and I would like to continue to do that with dungeons without displaying the entoer dungeon at once

CC3 isn't often used as a VTT tool, but as I understand it from Remy's blog article it can be.
Use layers. They are a great way to hide/show features. You can for example make one layer for each room, and then either have an entity on that layer that covers up the room, so hide the layer to show the room, or place everything in that room on that layer, so when you show the layer, the room appears.
Here is another blog article from me that may be relevant
I think that was the one I was probably looking for.
Thanks for finding it, Remy :)
