Hi Everyone! :D
I was a regular office worker - an administrator, come quality manager, come general dog's body... you know the sort of thing. But I have also always been an artist and a writer.
It was while I was looking for an app to use to map the twin planets of Ethran and Errispa where my novels are based that I discovered CC3 back in 2016.
Here is the very first map I ever did with the app, thanks to quite a lot of help from Ralf Schemmann - who also invited me to join this forum.
Over time I have become much more involved with the forum and discovered that I enjoyed helping other people learn to map with CC3 and its add ons.
I look forward to continuing all our existing conversations, and to many more new ones as well.

Your artistry is awesome and your generosity in helping others here and on FB, and in giving so much of yourself to the community makes you one of my very favourite people. ❤️
Thank you very much, Quenten :)
Hi Sue,
I'm a writer, too, as well as a mapmaker. I did a few simple maps using CC3+ for my book interior, such as a broad look at the eastern continent of Anarra, where my trilogy takes place, a closer view of the Forest of Draydin, and an overview of Shan's journey, my main character, but I have done nothing with the same detail and scope of what I've seen of your work. It looks really good. I look forward to trying out your new cliff tools from the latest annual. I love to read, as well, so I was particularly interested to hear you mention your novels. Have you published any of them yet, or are they still in the works?
Hello Elfling ?
Welcome to the forum, and thank you for the compliments.
Unfortunately I have never got very far with finishing any of my novels. Art has become the more important of my two driving forces.
That's your first map? Wow. ?
When I say I had a lot of help from Ralf, I mean a LOT of help! LOL!
That's a beautiful map. I love the shadowing too- very atmospheric!!
Thank you very much Dysania. I think it helps a lot if you have a firm idea of what you want to achieve before you start.
Sue, I owe you a coffee (or several). Cash it in anytime you’re in OK. Thanks for all the help you’ve given me, and for the future where I’m sure I’ll have more questions! ;-)
Thank you very much, Daisho ?
