Simple question about polygons (newbie alert)

I'm creating an outdoor map, and I want to add some simple rectangles in various spots. I can create a box just fine, but Fill Color seems to apply to the border of the box, not its contents. How do I fill in the box with a color?

Also, is there any easy way to draw block arrows?

Simply set the "Fill Style" to "Solid", the "Line Style" to "Solid" and make sure the "Line Width" is set to "0" (that's zero). This will make a solid filled object of the color of your choosing.
