QUERY: Repositioning Attachments in HTML mode

How do I reposition my image attachments in a post when I want to use an HTML <IMG> tag without a link wrapping it? I've tried to insert an [Image_0000] tag as per the forum guidelines but it just renders as text. Is there a SRC attribute in the <IMG> tag that I can use?

You can't access the properties of the IMG tag unfortunately, what I do is to wrap it in a div tag
